Hello and welcome to my world.

This is me out and about in the Great British Countryside doing what I love the most. Now there is nothing I like better than simply getting out there, regardless of conditions and being at one with Nature and our stunning Wildlife.

Now you'd be forgiven for thinking that this picture must have been taken in Scotland, but you'd be wrong. No, this was up on my beloved Peak District, searching for my favorite UK mammal, the Mountain Hare following heavy snow fall. Needleess to say I had a great day.

I have always had a wildlife and nature from being a young boy growing up and spending most of my childhood at my grandparents house who lived in open countryside. It was there that my love of Wildlife and the great outdoors began,

Living in close proximity to the wounderful Peak District National Park has given me a great canvas for my wildlife photography, however it doesn't stop there as I also love a road trip! I love traveling the length and bredth of the UK to spend time with the fabulous array of wildlife that we can encounter here in the Great British countryside.

So come on me on my journey in my pursuit of excellence whilst photographing the natural world right here in the United Kingdom, maybe oversese if and when the opportunity arrises.

Getting close to wildlife needs very careful consideration, the welfare of your subject should always come first.

Without doubt, the biggest buzz for me, when it comes to my wildlife photography, is getting as close as I possibly can without causing stress or fear to my chosen subject.

Spending time with my local Brown Hares in early spring, yes I know bad hair day if you'll forgive the pun, but it was well worth the effort.
